Freshman: Proud of entering Tsinghua University; even if I didn't know what I was about to learn there. (First C programs.)
Sophomore: Materials Science: lattices, phases, defects... (network technique, Java)
Junior: Various materials science topics: ceramics, nano-materials, corrosion, thin films... first principle simulation. (hardware technique)
Senior: Senior design: phase transformation of multi-layer bi-metal thin films. (data structure)

(@Ohio State University)
First year graduate: Core courses: thermodynamics, microstructure... (Beowulf cluster)

(@University of Pennsylvania)
Second year graduate: Qualifying exam. (Molecular Dynamics code in C/C++)
Third year graduate: Thermal conductivity of silicon nanowire. (another Beowulf cluster, software system, security)

I didn't waste my time in the 7 years. Next 7 years will be more difficult, challenging and also decisive.

I will be enjoying.

Last few days

It usually does not make people feel good when their future is in the hand of others. But this is life. Who survives at last will be the winner.

Gold will be discovered sooner or later because it's gold -- it can be distinguished from the soot. However, when the surrounding is also gold, which one will be picked up?

One must believe in himself, believe that as long as there is hope, there is opportunity; as long as there is opportunity, there is hope.

Just give me a chance. To go, to go further, to explore, to create, to build, to discover, to realize dreams.

Do NOT give up.

Finally, your future will be there, in your hand.
